Integrating Disparate Data

Through our process in finding data to connect schools, organizations, and supplies to each other, we noticed trends that we had not before. The supplies that were being requested by schools are very abundant in quantity and types on store websites. This shows us that our mission of getting schools resources is very achievable with enough engagement. We also noticed that there was a big gap in the amount that involved organizations have given. Some have given a lot, but much more have given some but not nearly as much. This is something not noticed at face value as they are each presented equally, showing the need of looking into organizations before donating directly to them.
